More than words July challenge

Hello everyone,

This months challenge over at "More than words" is  "Explore & Arrow".So my page is about exploring  FEARS, yes we all have our fears but only way to over come them is to explore them, find the reason and eliminate it.One of my favorite quote is "Everything you need is on the other side of your fear".Though sometimes its not as easy as it sounds ,the final outcome will be always rewarding. So if you love something truly dont let the fear stop you from having it,go for it!!!!

Word Inspiration - EXPLORE
Creative Challenge - ARROWS

My page is quiet simple without layers or flowers,i went for the triangle theme,yellow/black combination  which i wanted to try for long time.I love yellow color,it just makes me HAPPY!! I just loved this photo which suited my theme very well.

This is also my guest designer project for Fabrika 212.Here is this months sketch:

Nautical canvas for Colourarte

Hello everyone,
today i am sharing a "Nautical theme canvas" over at "Colourarte" blog, check out my post for more details and a  step by step tutorial. My canvas is inspired by march mood board over at "Mixed media & art",as you know i love making sea theme projects,so this mood board really caught my eyes and couldn't let it go,so i finally managed to make this in the last moment.
Probably this is one of the piece which took long time for the painting part(almost a day),after painting and repainting and using almost 10 shades of blues i finally got the desired color tones. Its quiet tricky to work with single color,
But no complaints,i love how it  turned out, especially the textures.Due to many layers of paints some fine textures got covered, sob sob*

Hope you enjoyed the post for today, dont forget to check out "Colourarte blog" for more details.

Textured canvas for Colourarte

Hello friends,
i am over at "Colourarte" blog today sharing a layered texture canvas, check out the full tutorial HERE.So this one was totally unexpected,i was just thinking about what to do and randomly took some supplies and started arranging on my canvas which turned out quiet interesting. If you know me,you would know i am not a person who is into recycling much, but these negative chipboard pieces are too pretty to throw away.My base of the canvas is constructed with layers of negative chipboard pieces, and embellished with some clay/metal embellishments. The oh so pretty textures are made with help of mini art stones,i love it so much that i always find a reason to use them  and this time its the highlight of this project.

Art journal page for colourarte

Hello!!
Its new year and its time to start with a new art journal.I love art journaling,it allows me to create without any restriction and go with the flow. For my first page i tried something new(for me),this page is created with stamping as focus with minimal coloring.

"The beauty of the art lies the negative space which
balances the whole composition"

I made this page for "Colourarte" and i have a quick tutorial on how to make this, believe me you can make this in very few steps.
I used very few supplies,no embellishments or layers are added but still it has lots of depth n textures. Sometimes less is more(yeah only sometimes though, haha) and i  love how it turned out
I have used radiant rain sprays from colourarte, the intensity of these colors are fabulous, just a little goes a long way.And when i say i tried something new you got to believe, because see i used a dragonfly this time instead of butterflies, hehe;).
