Hello friends,

Music and art makes the best pair right?both has been blended beautiful in this "Love notes" collection by Graphic 45.Its my recent favorite collection from G45(though i love every one of them) and absolutely loved making this treasure box using them.Red and black combo is always a hot favorite.I altered a wooden box and turned it into a shadow box/photo frame. It can be used both as gift box as well as a show piece with a space for photo on one side.

Graphic 45 2019 Brand Ambassador Audition

Hello  everyone!!

with so much excitement i present you my projects for "Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador Audition 2019".I am a big fan of Graphic 45 and it would be a great opportunity and honor to represent one of the best paper crafting brand in the world.

I love creating all kind of projects like cards, albums, layouts ,mixed media and 3d/altered projects. For today's project i made a mixed media canvas as i feel its one of my major strength.I have used gorgeous new "Bloom" and "Garden goddess" collections for my project.

Lets see the procedure to create this canvas:

Prepare the canvas with three coats of heavy white gesso, dry in-between each coats.Once the canvas is ready apply glitter paste or modelling paste through stencils.
Spray water over the canvas and add water colors in shades of pink and green.I kept the colors very light as i wanted a soft background for the bold colors i am going to use in my composition
Fussy cut flowers from "Bloom" and "garden goddess" collection. Also cut some borders and labels from the paper collection
Stamp some leaf designs on vellum with versamark ink and heat emboss it with white embossing powder and fussy cut them. The vellum designs will be helpful to create layers with out much dimension and also gives a  soft look to your projects and most importantly does not cover the other elements as its transparent. Also die cut some leaves and flourishes with pattern papers.

To create the basic composition and layers, cut papers in few sizes. Instead of gluing each layer, group them into 2-3 layers, pin it together so that i will be easy to tuck in embellishments.Add chipboard at the back leaving half an inch all the sides.
Now create the composition using all the elements we prepared. This is how the first layer looks.I also added few clay embellishments to add dimension
Once the basic composition is ready, add layers of flowers, fussy cut elements, chipboard embellishment etc as you like.Once all the elements has been glued, add more colors around the composition to add some depth.
Now soften the edge of the colors using white gesso so that the color transition is smooth. Also mix some gesso with water and splash it randomly all over the embellishments except the photo.
Here is some more close ups,for finishing touch i added small beads, art stones and glitters using gel medium

I have also created another cute little project,a mini shadow box featuring one of my most favorite secret garden collection. The shadow box measure 6 by 6 inches ,i love fussy cutting and this whole project is made with fussy cut elements from secret garden collection and few flowers from sweet sentiment collection.I added a lot of dimension between each elements using chipboards and foam tapes.

"Thank you Graphic 45 team for this amazing opportunity and taking time to review my projects".

Underwater Fantasy shadow box

Hello bloggy friends,
today i am here to share a shadow box made on underwater theme.I love making nautical projects, and totally enjoyed making this. This time i changed the color scheme from usual blues n greens,as its underwater theme.I tried to capture the night effect of the under water scene-mysterious,shinny n magical.I used blue, purple n grey as my color scheme.I have used some of my current favorite items sculpture medium, art stones and dylusion sprays. Its much more shinier n full of texture in real,i wish i can capture the real effect in the picture.

Graphic45:Once upon a springtime shadow box

Hello everyone,
happy monday. I am so excited to share one of my long awaited project today.A shadow box frame made with graphic 45 once upon a spring papers. Its been a very long time since i made altered/MDF projects, last year i started with mixed media seriously and since then i am unable to concentrate on other projects.I have been hoarding these gorgeous papers for more than a year now,as soon as i saw them i decided to make a "Fairy garden" them shadow box,and finally made it.
Its no secret that i loveeee pattern papers and Graphic45 is definitely in my top 5 most favorite paper companies,i collect lot of their collection(but dont use it much as they are too gorgeous to cut;)).For embellishing i used lots of fussy cutting images from the pattern paper along with beautiful prima embellishments  and Wycinanka chipboards.Aww look at the cute bird house with birds on them,i love it.
Some close ups:
I thoroughly enjoyed making this project except the fact that i have work even without fan till i finalize all my arrangement and glued them(just imagine in this hottest weather,duh..)

I hope you enjoyed seeing this project,it feels so good to finish a project from a long to-do list,ha how i wish i can make every project i imagine(if only i have the time n energy,).
