Altered brush canvas

Hello everyone,

we(prima girls) had a interesting INSTA hop on National scrapbooking day last saturday. We all took the altered brush theme  and made it on our own styles. Here is my take, this is my first altered brush but i dont think it will be the last,it was super interesting and fun to make.I only had a medium sized brush,so i made it on a canvas. The first thing comes to mind when i think of the brush is wings,it gives wings to my imagination,so i took as the theme for my canvas. I added the beautiful "steampunk" wings form scrapiniec which perfectly fits my theme. You can check my post on IG right HERE,to see all the different altered brushes,i am sure you will love it.

More than words challenge: Memories & frame
Well brushes gives me lots of childhood memories,i as a kid would love to buy more paints and brushes than toys.I used to hold lots of brushes in hand while i paint(i mean just scribble) and pretend  like a great artist, lol.Even before i know how to use or handle them i have been collecting brushes n paints. They say you become what you think or pretend to be,and here i am as a artist even after doing a computer science degree, haha. For the Creative challenge i have used two resin frames on my canvas, one large frame behind the brush(hope its visible;))and one small on the left

Steampunk canvas : Prima marketing

Hello friends,

Sorry for keeping it very silent here,i have lots of projects to share but i find it really hard to keep up with all the social medias, miss those days when we just craft, haha. For sure this is the best medium to take our art world wide, but sometime its overwhelming. Plus i was down with fever for 2 days and now left with severe throat pain,i am unable to even eat or speak. For me the world ends when i am not well, lol i really cant do or concentrate on anything until it goes away. Now that atleast the fever went away,i am quiet ok mentally and can share my works on blog.

So here is my little steampunk style canvas i made for "Prima marketing".I combined heart and star shaped canvas together and used lot of wooden and metal embellishments to decorate. For coloring i used art alchemy metallic paints and waxes, wow these are my latest favorites, the colors are so rich and so smooth that it just spreads like dream.

More than words : Delicate and fabrics

 Hello everyone,

Its time for a new challenge over at "More than words".The theme is "Delicate and fabrics".What is more delicate than little girls and flowers?,so i made a canvas with a little girl image and lots of flowers. For the creative challenge is used some lace bits and fabric flowers on my canvas. The black and white with red is one of the most striking combo,so after my recent layout again i decided to use it.I used 7 dots studios Dream scapes collection for the layers and added lots of fussy cut flowers from Fabrika decoru "Botany summer" collecton, die cut leaves along with some prima flowers. We cant wait to see your entries, hope you will join us,

Together & Forever -Mixed media canvas

Hello everyone,
the new challenge is up on "More than words"

Word inspiration-TOGETHER
Creative challenge-AMPERSAND
February is month of love ,so i decide to make a love theme
canvas with the word "TOGETHER" and
completed the sentiment "Together&forever" using
 a wooden ampersand.
The canvas is dimensional with lots of layers using die cuts, flowers and
a whole lot of prima marketing stuffs.
I have used prima color bloom sprays and dylusion sprays for coloring.
My canvas is made with inspiration from "Mixed media & art " challenge.
I have used both the sketch and the colors from the mood board.
Its  obviously one of my favorite color combo with shades of pinks and purples,
but what draws me is the hint
of yellow which gives a whole new freshness to the deep color palette.

Thank you for stopping by.

Mini canvas with oil pastels

Hello everyone,
today i am sharing a mini canvas i did with Prima oil pastels, this is my first try with them and i love it.Water soluble oil pastels-its so creamy, blends well and gives opaque finish while used directly like oil pastels at the same time gives water color effect when mixed with water, actually quiet interesting n different to work with. For the center image i used prima paintables and colored it with oil pastels. Background is made with crackle paste and oil pastels.Hope you liked it,will be back soon with another project.

Made  this for  12 Days of Christmas challenge at Prima  Day 7- oil pastels and Day 12- crackle paste
