BIRD HOUSE BOX AND A CARD

Hi all,
happy news,my previous card is selected for the cream in our coffee in play date cafe challenge.Whoo,hoo,..so excited.
Here is my card for this weeks get sketchy challenge#58.Loved this card,a quick one.The flower is handmade,so it also goes to sherryann's challenge in yvonne's blog

This cute bird house is the one i made julie's elak's 3d challenge in yvonne's blog. This is made with a template,i din't stick one side of the roof,so that it can be used as a box, filled with some candies and give it as a gift. But i am in a confusion whether i should leave it as it is,as stick the roof and use it as a show piece. What you people think, help me out.Isn't it looking odd,the one side roof is standing out?

Side views,..

Thanks for visiting.
Happy crafting,

Congrats dear. Lovely works.
Birdhouse is great. Use it as a gift box not showpiece. Gift box concept is different,I like it.

Soooo fun! You go girl with creating a gift set and combining the challenges. As for the bird house I love gifty packaging so you know what my opinion is :>)
To fix the roof, cut a 2"x2" strip of paper - fold it in half. Glue/tape half of the paper inside the house so that the other 1/2 is sticking out on top. Use velcro on that part that is hanging out and on the roof to close it. Does that make sense? LOL!!!
Well, thanks for playing along with my 3D challenge on Yvonne's blog!!! I am so glad you were inspired to create something so fun.
