Cherished - Mixed media canvas

Hello everyone,

today i have a new project to share.I made it for "Fantasy dies" and i have a short tutorial to create the texture background,hope you will like it.

 

 

Fantasy dies used: Gentle frame 1 , Wild flowers , Plantain

Small bouquet of roses , A six sided grid ,  Botany 539 chipboard/

Adhere the background design cut with white card stock to the canvas using gel medium or glue.

Apply two coats of white gesso.

 

Apply embossing paste through stencil and use heat gun to emboss it.

 

Apply white crackle paste randomly in few areas.

 

Add more color using sprays .

Stamp randomly to add more texture using black archival ink,now the background is ready.

 

I decorated my canvas with fussy cut images,paper embellishments,chipboard and die cuts from Fantasy and some flowers.
