Dream catcher - Canvas

Hello everyone,
 today i have a new mixed media canvas to share.So this canvas is like combination of different ideas,initially i wanted to make something with clocks and gears with rusty look,then i wanted to make it colorful,and then suddenly thought of adding some feathers,though i was so suspicious how feathers will go with gears,after finally adding the title dream everything made sense and wow it looked like a dream catcher too,lol. Dream catchers are so on trend now and i was meaning to make something related to it for long time ,so i am happy how it turned out,though not a delicate one as it was meant to be i am glad that i came up with my own version.

As i said i wanted to make it rusty and grungy first,then thought of making it colorful which dint workout.So i gave a coat black gesso again and used new "Patina effect" paste from finnabair. Thankfully it gave both the colorful as well as rusty look to the canvas.I have also used "Deco art metallic lustre turquoise" and iridescent silks violet.For highlights i used "Art alchemy wax vintage silks"

I made this for third stage of "Fabrika decoru" joint project.The challenge is to create project with atleast 30% of chipboard.My canvas is created with only chipboards,i have not used any other material.Apart from just dabbing a little of light paste onto the background for texture the whole effect is achieved just with chipboards and paints.

So here is my industrial/steampunk inspired dream catcher canvas with galaxy background and rust effect,hahaha i love it when different ideas combines together and gives a unexpected project instead of confusing me  as it does sometimes and yeah the beautiful chipboard designs are from 2crafty chipboard.
