Its official that i can make cards without flowers and butterflies now,lol...and this is my first card only with stamping.I am surprised with the result, totally loved the outcome.
This is for ujwal's "Overcome your fear of stamping " challenge.Stamping was the only thing i feared to try out,but that was the time i have only few locally bought wooden stamps and ink pad. After buying some acrylic stamps, memento ink pads and now with all the stamping stuffs with me,i really enjoy stamping, its not tough as i thought.
I have tried 2 new techniques in this card(of course everything thing is new for me in stamping),masking n embossing resist.I first stamped the bird, then masked it and stamped Hero arts happy definition stamp with versamarker n heat embossed it.I really like turqoise blue/green color, since i don't have that color stamp pad,i used different green and blue ink pads to bring the color.I left a small outline while cutting the image, which created a white space around the bird and highlights it.I don't have a matching color pattern paper,so for the background also i used the embossing resits technique. So lots of stamping and loads of distressing,..how is my card,..?
P.S:I am giving away this card to one lucky winner who comment on this post,so if you really like the card please refer that in your comment,i will pick up a random winner in my next post:)).
