MY CRAFT ROOM-A LOOK

Hi all,
i want share some pics of my craft room today.Don't think i am a tidy person after seeing this,i just cleaned the room and it took me almost 3 hours.As i told earlier i create lot of mess while i work,if i am working on a big project then sometimes its hard to step into the room:)))

So this is my craft table,most of the times it will be filled with all the stuffs and probably i sit down and work,*lol*.
In the storage boxes i keep all the pattern papers,punches,stencil,embellishments etc..


I dump my stuffs in every possible place like cot drawer,below stair case etc,..even in my computer table,..you can see a box in the table na?,it is punches:)))


The most imp.tools for me paper cutter n cuttle bug.I cannot cut papers in straight line,seriously,..at least i can manage with scissors but cannot handle knife,..with without my paper cutter/trimmer i cannot make cards:))Its not the regular kind of trimmer but i am more comfortable with it as i can keep even size papers and cut,but occupies lot of space.
You can see the table cloth is full of paint,..i most wipe the brush in the table cloth itself,..too lazy to go n take waste cloths:))so my mom wont give me a good table cloth,.lol,.

Here i keep all my design patterns,books and all other card making stuffs.I almost open it hundred times a day and its already broken within a year,..







So this is my craft room,will try n post pics while i work.
So what about your crafting space,try to post it,will be fun:)))


P.S:My system is in trouble,will not know when i will be back.While posting this one,it restarted so many times.Hope the computer person comes today itself,and the problem is not so serious.HAPPY NEW YEAR.

PUNCH CRAFT CARD

So finally a post on new work,lol..Every time when seeing anita's punch craft cards,i really tempeted to make one but some how i don't,..i am too lazy to try it and it involves lot of work and for a messy prerson like me while crafting i almost have sit in midst of paper scraps if i do punch craft.
So here is a punch craft finally,i have not made any proper punch craft card so far,..this is my first attempt.Check out the spellbinders butterfly die,..isn't it beautiful,..i love it:)))

MY TOP TEN CARDS OF 2010

Hi,
There is a blog hop for top 10 cards 2010.For details click here.I have started card making only last dec,i was affected a very bad fever at that time,so couldn't do paintings or murals really,so to just keep me occupied i started paper crafts and card making that time.With all the blog around i came to know about all paper craft supplies and started collecting them all,got my cuttlebug in june and from there i took card making seriously.I have learnt so many things from the internet n other blogs,its been a wonderful journey and got so many friends only after starting paper crafts.
Still so much is there to learn,i think i am a learner still in card making when seeing all those wonderful wonderful cards from foreign card makers.
Hope i can do more with the nice stuffs i have collected recently.

DIES TO DIE FOR,..

Hi,
finally i have got my much awaited dies.I just so love all the new spellbinders dies,and they are surely to die for,.lol.I have got whole lot of them,including some of the all time favorite dies.Surely a big investment,..hmm,..but love it.This is my first order directly to India,so you can guess how tensed it will be until it reach me,thank god it took only two weeks..
But i wonder,no matter how much ever i buy my wish list always keeps only increasing,not coming down at all:)))and i literally spent all my savings.any sponsors???lol.
I was so so excited,and don't know which one to use first,..hmm,..they are all just out of the world and i just keep looking them for now,..didn't open it up also

SNEAK PEAK OF MY BEST PAINTING IN 2010 AND AN INTERESTING EVENT,..

Hi all,
the year is going to end and we all are eagerly expecting a new year.I hope everybody recall all their memories,good or bad at this time,..the best thing we did,the worst thing we did,..lol.Additionally all the crafter's will think of their best work in this year,isn't it?i did today.But this year without problem in choosing it,i can close my eyes and say this painting,..

This is called kerala mural,a traditional and auspicious painting in kerala,done on the temple wall directly with natural colors.But since we don't get all those natural colors here i did with acrylic paints on canvas.
I did for my exhibition in April 2010,..this is the biggest painting i have done so far,..measures 3 feet by 6 feet and it took me 2 months to complete it,..i love this painting a lot,..this is very close to my heart and i think it will remain one of the best in my life time,...generally i don't admire my work a lot,..because i feel if we think its our best we just stop there and we don't grow more,..we should keep on aiming for the best,..but some times it is good just to boost up ourselves,..what you say,..

NEW YEAR WISHES,..

Hi people,
new year is nearing and i am expecting 2011 a lot as this year was not so good for me,..so this is my first new year card,..based on play date cafe colors,..though it wont go with all the colors i love lemon yellow a lot,..its so bright,energetic and vibrant,what you say,..?

So here is my take on the colors,..did you notice i have not used pattern papers in this card,..wow,..that's really rare in my case,..its hard for me to make a card without pattern papers,..this time i have used lot of embossing instead,..and i loved the outcome,..:))

CHRISTMAS TREE TUTORIALS AND SOME NEWS,..

Hi all,
wondering where i went all these days?i caught by a very bad cold n cough and some personal problems which kept me away from crafting.Now i am feeling better,but still in no mood for crafting,..mm,..ok i cannot work if i am not in mood,..not even a single thing,..so waiting to gain my mood,..
But i have few things to share with you all,..
Firstly i did a Christmas tree tutorials for THE KEY BUNCH ,its a great site for interior related things and i thank shashi for this opportunity.Its been really long time since i made some tutorials and i enjoyed making this,you can view the tutorials here.



As i said i have to gain some crafting mood,i went for some craft shopping today.Lots of new paper packs have come,this time in various sizes,..12*12,8*8,a4 and a5,..They have lots of new designs and those old designs also,..christmas papers where awesome,..loved it,..


These are a5 paper packs,..most of them have specialty papers and die cuts with it,..these two have some cutie designs with it,..
If anybody like to share these papers,mail me as i think these will not get used in a life time,..lol,..but its a addiction to buy more than you use,..totally i hav bought 9,..initially i took most of the designs first and these are the short listed ones:))thank god i didn't buy all:))
These are more of like vintage papers,and most of the designs are in all the sizes except few,..

And finally,..i am planning a little give away,..as i am going to reach my 300th post very soon:))),..and my blog has crossed over 1,50,000 hits,..wink,..wink**
