i am excited to share today's post.Yes!!i made my first set of ATC cards and i really loved making it.For long time i have been in dilemma whether i will be able to work on such a small size(it measures only 2.5 by 3.5 inches).Though i love doing detailed work, this is too tiny. But it was super fun and awesome experience. and yeah a lot of work than i expected:)
So here is my glittery and wintery ATC cards,i made three of them.If you follow me you would have noticed i am not a great fan of adding glitters,i add subtle touch that too if it is very much needed,i feel too much of glitter gives an artificial look. But for these cards i added lots of silver glitter embossing, after all christams is all about shiny and glittery things right?and i feel it really went well with the background( i hate to add anything that doesn't go 100% with my project)
This is my DT project for Colourarte and i have a simple tutorial for making the background over at Colourarte blog,do check it out HERE.I have used 7dots studio yuletide collection papers, stickers and wood embellishments for this project.

Am so in love with ur wintery ATC...am drawn to ur works mostly for ur brilliant colors choice and everytime it matches with my taste of no glitter cards...somehow i dnt prefer..if added it must be just subtle...and so prefer only silver embossing and wink of stella clear... And these are just awesome <3
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous!! I love the wintry feel with these colors. Thanks so much for playing at the Mixed Media Monthly Challenge.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right, the glitter really works here! I agree with you - not a big fan - but Christmas and New Years brings out the sparkle! ;0 These are really beautiful. The colors all work together so perfectly. I love all the embossing and attention to design. Perfection! Hugs, Autumn
