Finally i am back with some projects,i really missed some great challenges bcoz of my camera, atleast i want to try out this week card pattern sketch(love it).So here is the simple card(i started liking these kind of cards now, less time consuming and apt for some quick gifts),the awesome pattern paper is from internet(i love anything related to butterflies:)),doily is RAK from mansi(thank u so much girl:)),flower is handmade with fabric rest is from my stash.
I am entering this to following challenges:
Pollycraft monday:pastel colors
Pile it on:anything goes
SSDS challenge:anything goes
Fairytale challenge:flowers
2sisters challenge:flowers
Card patterns:sketch
Aifactory:anything goes
Digidoodles:anything goes
Penny's papercraft:anything goes
Actually i was in a dilemma whether to post it or not:(.I made this for mandy's extending background challenge in yvonne's blog.I never thought of combining painting n paper crafts till i see her works, and i was like Wow,..her works are too good.Everything went well till planning, and even i have executed almost the same, but the colors didn't really match well,so what do you think??
Its my long time wish to do a altered canvas, but i think i have spoiled it.Ok,here is what i did.Took a print out of this cute bird house, first disaster is it become over sized,so i cut out all the background and took only the picture, next mistake i made is i applied glue n gloss fully,so the beauty of the pic is gone:((becomes too shinny.I have extended the background like tree,to avoid too much of brown i have added some blue to give a sky effect, then stamping, misting n so many things i tried in this, lol,,and i covered most of the things with flowers n butterflies:)
The good new is i finally found some double sided felts, but very limited color n quantity(any body get these felt in your place?)I love seeing these flowers in yvonne's blog:)and i really gives a good effect.
P.S:Don't forget to enter my giveaway HERE.

ReplyDeleteI think any process of creating is being able to adjust and move and rearrange what we have in our hands... and rather than think of it as mistakes.... think of it as a process... like a journey from beginning to the end. I think you took a wonderful journey of learning and exploration!
Its a striking beauty!
