Hello everyone,
i am here today to share my first project for
Deco art. . This is a abandoned project that i did a year back ,it dint turned out as i planned so dumped it some where in the corner. As i already said black gesso is a great savior and it turns around everything magical. So i thought of giving this clock a second try and glad i did:)
As i have already worked on it,it has all the gesso(white) and textures that i added using gauze cloth and texture paste.I just gave it a coat of black gesso and added graphite texture paste all over with a flat brush and allowed it to dry for some time.So now that fun part(coloring) begins,i absolutely love the
Metallic luster paint from deco arts, they are so creamy and the shine is awesome.I have decided to give patina effect to my clock so i used Metallic luster-
Brilliant turquoise and lavish green for the first coat,i applied it with a flat dry brush. Though these colors can be mixed with water they give the best shine when used directly from the container
After that i have arranged the embellishments. The chipboard embellishments are from Gina k designs, the designs are awesome and the best part is they are made of flexible material so they dont break or chip off.The metal embellishments and flowers are from my stash.Once i sticked them down with glue gun i applied a coat of black gesso over them. After it dried i used
Metallic luster -Gold rush for all the embellishments.
For highlights i used
Metallic luster -Champagne ice(lighter gold) and rubbed them lightly all over with a flat brush.
Hope you enjoyed looking at my project, see ya all soon :)
