This card is based on Card pattern sketch 107,..sorry for the poor photographs,i tried maximum,..but its difficult to photograph in the evening time,that too colors like this.The pattern papers are from prima,and the caged bird stamp is from maya road(love it, so cute).I have hanged the bird with the button,but its not showing off in the photograph,..this card looks much better IRL.

SKETCH TIME

Hey people,
its quiet rare i play for sketch challenges,as i love to work on my own layouts as it come to my mind.But i love sketches,..and after seeing these amazing sketches,..i really don't want to miss it out,..and after seeing my cards you must realized why i love these sketches,..because lots of layers can be done,..lol,.which i love a lot.
First one is based on CLP challenge blogs sketch,..this is totally a new style to me,..tried a grungy look,..and i loved the outcome too,..but when i showed this card to mom she asked why the flowers n others looks dirty??i was like grrrr.......i have distressed every bit of the card with tea dye n walnut inks and it looks dirty for her,lol.So do you love this style or not???????Pattern papers and flowers are from prima,i have tried a fabric flower for this.

AWIC DAY#6,BUTTERFLY BLOG PARTY

Hi,
happy monday.My mojo is back and in full swing from morning,..after seeing the lovely cards in Butterfly blog party,..wow,..amazing cards.I love butterflies,.and i buy anything that is in butterfly shape,lol,..be it a punch,dies,stamps or stickers:))As i told i am totally unhappy with my yesterdays card,..and altered it,..just added another white panel and loads of butterflies.I have used my M.S .butterfly punch and tiny pattern paper scraps...and now totally happy with this card,..who is not happy seeing loads of butterflies together?:))



Will be back with AWIC#7 in the evening.

P.S:Is there any place to complain if somebody irritates you with comments???need your help girls,do reply me.

AWIC DAY#5,SEE THE FLOWERS SMILING,..

Something or the other is going wrong for me during this AWIC,the other day no power supply and today my internet went down,so i thought i cannot post today n didn't make a card,..jus now it got connected and i made a very quick card in 10mins,..yes you read it right:))I got some kraft card stock today and i immediately wanted to use it off:)was waiting for it so long,..the lace and sentiment is from Hero arts,prima flowers,MS butterflies and some embossing is all needed to finish this card,..and i love it,..hope you will too:))

Wow,.i cant believe that i am making some simple cards,lol,..i have planned some card today,.hope i do it tomorrow.

AWIC DAY#4,HEAT EMBOSSING AND PAPER PIECING

Today cards are totally experimented ones with some stamping techniques,so bare with me.Even though i have got some custom made stamps,wooden stamps n few acrylic stamps i dint have good ink pads with me before,..except the pigment inks i get here which are good only for sponging and not stamping,..it totally mess up the thing and i thought i am bad at stamping and didn't try after that,..but now that i have got a full set of memento ink pads,..wow stamping is now interesting,colorful and coming out better now:)i am obsessed with it now and stamped and colored almost all the stamps i hav,lol

Well,first card is done with heat embossing,..like most of you did i too burnt my heat tool,..not me exactly,.the idiotic shop person did that job,..initially most of the shop persons recommended me 1500rs stabilizer for the heat tool,..but i felt its costly more than the tool itself,..so i dint get that,..finally a shop person told 300rs converter is enough and tried with it n burnt the thing:((Thank god,..a electrician nearby my house agreed to repair it and made it work for me and now i am using a 400rs converter,..
I am still learning,,so here is my simple card made with heat embossing,..and i am sending this to tejal's embossing challenge.

These two cards are done with paper piecing,..i didn't have any big stamps and most of stamps are silhouette ones,..so tried with the few ones i hav,..the stamps is custom made,..
This stamp is from stampendous ,.my very first clear stamp,..but using it for the first time..and i made these two card for paper piecing challenge in yvonne's blog,..
Oohh,..my craft room is a disaster now,..can even step into it,..off to cleaning,..will be back with a nice card tomorrow:)

AWIC DAY#2,SPRING IS IN THE AIR

Yes,spring is in the air and i can see lot of challenges for spring and green.Though its nice to see spring,..its suddenly become too hot here in chennai,..from a very cold weather,..mm,..so bad..Well,if you have noticed all my recent cards you will know that i am trying out different color combination's these days that i have not tried before,..so today i use green n purple n i just loved this combo,..
The image is a freebie from HERE,..papers are from echo park,some ribbon and lots of prima flowers,..i just love these flowers and it makes my life more easy now,..otherwise i have to sit n make flowers:))

AWIC EDITION#2:DAY 1

Hi friends,
first some happy news,..my bunnies in the garden made it to Top#4 in Take a quill pill challenge,..its is challenge blog exclusively for quilling,..so if you are a quilling lover do visit the blog,..and it was our very own Indian blogger friend and talented quiller priyadarshini's blog:)
And my love mini book made it to Top#3 in Crafty jc challenge,..all smiles)))

Ok now another good news is our Indian blog friends is having A week in cards event,..the participants should make a new card every day and post it for a week,..isn't it sounds fun?.,, already first edition is over successfully last week:)

Hi all,
just a quick post to share my card for Play date cafe's color splash challenge.I have used different embossing folders just for added interest,flowers are handmade,the sentiment is from Hero arts anytime messages,..recently i have got some Hero art stamps,..and wow what a quality,..just perfect impression:))

STAMPING,...

Hello everyone,
today i tried out some stamping,..in which i am very new,..so bare with me.It took me the whole day to complete the cards,..simple cards are not my cup of tea.I can finish those detailed cards much faster,.:)i really ended up getting an headache,.lol,..Ok anyways,first card becomes my favorite,..love the black,white n multicolor,..the card is based on this weeks card pattern's sketch.

I have tried the coloring method i saw in tejal's blog,..
Like i said these two cards took me lot of time,..this is based on Play date cafe colors,..
